I specialise in Criminal defence work and Immigration. I am regularly instructed as a junior alone or led junior in serious criminal cases. Before joining the independent Bar I was a Legal Adviser to Magistrates in the West Midlands.

I have defended in a wide spectrum of Criminal cases ranging from serious violence, fraud, drugs, and sexual offences. I have a High Court Licence to Practice in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and I am able to accept instructions to undertake work in Pakistan.

I have lectured in Pakistan on Immigration Law and have advised on UK related legal matters. I am well versed with the Pakistani Criminal Code. I regularly appear before the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. In addition I advise and draft grounds of Appeal for Appeals subject to reconsideration and matters before the Court of Appeal.

R v Jones (2008) Birmingham Crown Court:
Appeared on behalf a Defendant charged with Section 18 wounding where he was alleged to have permanently blinded the complainant.
 
R v Hussain & others (2009) – Preston Crown Court:
Appeared on behalf of the Defendant alleged to be the ringleader in an armed robbery at a Jewellers shop.
 
R v Cooke & Ors (2009) – Birmingham Crown Court:
Appeared on behalf of the Defendant in a drugs case involving an investigation spanning 2 years and over £2million of drugs supply.
 
R v Khan (2009) – Harrow Crown Court:
Appeared on behalf of a Defendant alleged to have a “passport factory” where fake passports were manufactured and supplied.
 
R v Tinker (2008) - Birmingham Crown Court
Appeared on behalf of a Defendant charged with fraud against the Department of Works and Pension totalling over £150,000.
 
R v Jain (2008) – Birmingham Crown Court
Appeared on behalf of the Defendant where the Prosecution sought over £1 million in confiscation proceedings.
 
R v Blake (2007) – Derby Crown Court
Led Junior on a case involving several Defendants who were alleged to have robbed a Securicor van at gunpoint.
 
R v La & Ors (2007) – Leicester Crown Court
Appeared on behalf of the Defendant alleged to be involved in running a cannabis cultivation factory in 24 separate locations and alleged to have cultivated and sold over £1million of Cannabis.
 
R v Hussain & Ors (2008) – Worcester Crown Court
